This project dealt with Microsoft
Publisher. There are many different things you can create on
publisher including cards, brochures, posters, invitations, and
certificates, just to name a few. For this project I created a card and a brochure.
I used templates given by the program, changing the colors and
fonts. For graphics I used the clip art on microsoft publisher.
My brochure is for Math Day at Parker Elementary that we are
doing for EDU 373 and my card is just a simple Halloween card.
I think this project will be very useful in the future both inside and outside the classroom. In the classroom you can use it to create newsletters and brochures for parents, certificates to reward students, and for posters announcing something in the classroom, or a poster for valuable educational material that needs to be posted. I really enjoyed this project. I learned a lot just looking through and playing around with Microsoft Publisher. Now that I am more aquainted with the program I think I will be more likely to use it.
